The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.
SASSA will be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency mentioned it can be alarmed in regards to the higher variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often mainly because here of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The support issue created for intervention activities read more a significant inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it tough for that office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to empower the servicing of all buyers and enhance use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
